Barbara J. Foltin, 62, of Hillsborough, NJ, died on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. She was born on May 17, 1941 in Trenton, NJ, the daughter of Helen Marie (Larrison) Briggs and the late Stanley Briggs and lived in Hillsborough for the last 27 years. She was a graduate of Montclair State College and received her Masters Degree in Math from Rutgers University. At the time of her death she was Director of Information Systems and Technology for the Educational Testing Service, Princeton, NJ having worked there for 34 years. Barbara had a zest for life and her numerous interests included reading, music, painting, and gardening. She was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and painted at the Lavender Cat, Belle Meade, NJ. She always looked forward to each day and its challenges with a keen mind and a wonderful sense of humor. Her husband Thomas J. Foltin, Sr. died in 1995. She is survived by her mother, Helen Marie Briggs of Englishtown, NJ; two stepsons, Thomas J. Foltin, Jr. of Lambertville, NJ and Phillip Foltin of El Paso, TX; three sisters, Mary Lou Warhol of Beverly Hills, FL, Janice Whittaker of Reading, MA and Ruth Briggs of Englishtown, NJ; two brothers, Burtis Briggs of Morrisville, PA and Richard Briggs of Englishtown, NJ; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces, and a longtime and very close friend, Gloria D. Tuttle. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, NJ. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough. Friends may call at the Robert L.
