Catherine (Kay) Campbell, age 100, of Bridgewater, NJ, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. She was born on April 24, 1908, in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of the late Carl and Ida Bergmann and lived in Hoboken, NJ, Belleville, NJ and Raritan Township, NJ from 1944 until moving to Bridgewater in 2002. A graduate of Belleville, NJ High School she was an original member of Copper Hill Country Club and was a member of the Flemington Woman s Club. Her husband Peter Campbell pre-deceased her 1978. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Dr. Daniel Thomas of Bridgewater, NJ; son Dr. Peter M. Campbell of Alamogordo, NM; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service.
