David K. Fountain, 43, of Bloomsbury, NJ, died on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at his home. He was born on September 19, 1960 in Miami, FL, the son of Marion and the late Eleanor (Fallon) Fountain and lived in Princeton, NJ, Ringoes, NJ and Bethlehem Township, NJ before moving to Bloomsbury. A 1978 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School David served with the U.S. Navy from 1978 until 1984. He was employed by Hunterdon Transformer Company, Alpha, NJ. He was a member and past vice-commander of the VFW Post #7856, Flemington, NJ, a member of the American Legion Post 159, Flemington, NJ, and the Croton Rod and Gun Club, Kingwood Twp., NJ. He is survived by his wife, Heidi Fountain; his father, Marion Fountain of Neshanic, NJ; his son, William Skaggs and daughter Heather Skaggs, both of Bloomsbury; his sister Linda Dumpel of Mercerville, NJ; his brother, William Fountain of Dunellen, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Graveside interment services will be held on Monday April 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
