Jeannette R. Gouldey, age 84, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Saturday, December 27, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Delaware Township, NJ. She was born on January 4, 1924, in Chester, NJ the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Wood) Williamson and lived in Raritan Township for many years. Until her retirement in 2000, Jeannette was a registered nurse employed by the Hunterdon State School in Clinton, NJ. Her husband George Gouldey pre-deceased her in 1990. She is survived by three sons, Glenn Gouldey of Michigan, Anthony Gouldey of Florida and John Gouldey of New Jersey; three daughters, Alberta Hunter of Maine, Mildred Ferri of Texas and Susan Gouldey of Delaware Township, New Jersey; one sister, Anna Apgar of Chester, New Jersey; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private under the direction of the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. For all family members of Mrs Gouldey my heartfelt sympathies. I spent many hours of work as a co-supervisor of nursing with Mrs Gouldey and I will not forget all that she shareed with me. She was always a very caring nurse. One memory is of the beautiful flowers she filled the office with each spring. She will be missed.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the death of your mother. I worked with Mrs. Gouldey for 12 years and she was always kind, professional and very dependable. When there was a major snowstorm Mrs Gouldey always arrived early for duty. Her vast experience in the field of Nursing left her legacy at work when she retired. Again, my sympathy to you as you mourn.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the whole Gouldey family. Your Mom was a great lady and wonderful neighbor. We will all miss her and ALWAYS think of her fondly.
