Joan Baker Fatton, age 83, of Flemington, NJ, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. She was born on June 19, 1924, in Morristown, NJ the daughter of the late Ambrose H. and Mary Baker and lived in Flemington since 1934, except for a period of 25 years when she lived in Barnegat, NJ, returning to Flemington in 2003. She was a graduate of Flemington High School and the Flemington Choir School. She was a communicant and former parish secretary of St. Magdalen s Roman Catholic Church, Flemington, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the past president of the Ladies Golf Association of Ocean Acres Golf Course in Barnegat, NJ. Joan was pre-deceased by her brother, John A. Baker and her sister, Doris Zanetti. Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Henry (Hank) Fatton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael A. Fatton of Ponciano, FL, Patrick and Winnie Fatton of Flemington, Joseph and Rose Fatton of Philadelphia, PA; four daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Bill Rabosky of Three Bridges; Eileen and Michael Pahuta of Whitehouse Station; Margaret (Peggy) and Gary Cunningham of Titusville, FL and Suzanne and James Kraeuter of Mansfield, TX; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 6, 2007 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 1:00 PM, in St. Magdalen’s Church in Flemington. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
