Mabel C. Marshall, 86, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Sunday, March 21, 2004 at her home. She was born on March 21, 1918 in Bayonne, NJ, the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Brown) Cushmeyer and lived in Garwood, NJ and Bridgewater, NJ before moving to Readington Township in 1968. Until her retirement she was a Dietary Supervisor employed by Somerset Valley Nursing Home, Bridgewater, NJ. Mabel was a charter member of the Bridgewater United Methodist Church, Bridgewater, NJ. Her husband, Edwin Marshall died in 1977. She is survived by two daughters, Judith Zajac of Flemington, NJ, and Eunice Caswell of Bridgewater, NJ; three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Mountainview Cemetery, Cokesbury Road, Lebanon, NJ under the direction of the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to The Masterwork Chorus Reachout Fund, PO Box 2167, Morristown, NJ 07962 or to Camp Sacandaga, C/O Linda Wegner, 55 East Main Street, Suite 210, Johnstown, NY 12095 to establish the Mabel Marshall Scholarship Fund.
