Mary Tirpok Bugyi Schowe, 95, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. She was born on December 11, 1908 in Flemington, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mishlen) Tirpok and lived in Flemington all her life. Until her retirement she worked at Flemington Fur Co. and York Luggage in Lambertville. She was a Life Member and Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 159, Flemington and a member of B.P.O.E Lodge 1928, Flemington. Her first husband Paul Bugyi and her second husband Erwin Schowe both predeceased her. She is survived by her son Paul Bugyi and his wife Doris of Pittstown, NJ; three sisters, Julia Tirpok and Rose Higgins both of Flemington, NJ and Helen Totten of Florence, NJ; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Her brothers John, George, Andy, Joe, Frank and a sister Betty Yard all died earlier. Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private
