Raymond P. Kerr, age 84, of Upper Makefield Township, PA, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at his home. He was born on March 3, 1921, in Flemington, NJ the son of the late Joseph and Charlotte (Queen) Kerr and lived in Flemington and Ringoes before moving to Upper Makefield Township in 2002. Until his retirement in 1988 he was the shipping manager for Flemington Cut Glass Company, Flemington. He served under General Patton in the US Army during World War II and participated in the battle of Remagen Bridge and the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Kerr was a member of V.F.W. Post #7856, Flemington, NJ. His wife of 50 years Dorothy Kerr pre-deceased him in 2003. He is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Decker of New Hope, PA, JoAnn Roman of Garfield, NJ and Dawn Moody of Bear, Del; two sisters, Charlotte Ryan of Hammonton, NJ and Florence Knoster of Sergeantsville, NJ; two brothers, Joseph R. Kerr, Jr. of Flemington, NJ and Bernard J. Kerr of Flemington, NJ; three step sisters, Viola Marion of Three Bridges, NJ, Hazel Harrison of East Amwell, NJ and Esther Kopf of Virginia Beach, VA; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 6:00 PM in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 15, 2005 from 4:00 PM until time of service.
