Rosalia Hruszczak, 71, of Jackson, NJ, died on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the Jackson Care Center in Jackson. She was born on June 20, 1933 in Donbas, Ukraine, the daughter of Peter and Melania (Kraus) Sapira and immigrated to the United States in 1950 living in Elizabeth, NJ, Delaware Township, NJ, and Washington, NJ before moving to Jackson in 2000. Until her retirement she was employed by Modern Album Company, Flemington, NJ. Her husband, Wasyl Hruszczak predeceased her in 2000. She is survived by three sons, George Hruszczak, Frederick Hruszczak and Walter Hruszczak all of Jackson, NJ; five daughters, Anna Coffey of Oxford, NJ, Luba Nestorowycz of Rochester, NY, Katherine Finnigan of Annandale, NJ, Mary Cheshack of AZ, and Christine Smith of West Creek, NJ; a brother, Sam Sapira of Burlington, MA; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Her brother, Walter Sapira predeceased her in 1996. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Cemetery, Flemington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
