Theodore Barna, age 77, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006. He was born on July 24, 1929, in Poland, the son of the late John and Anastasia Barna. He came to the United States in 1934 and lived in New York City before moving to Raritan Township in 1958. Until his retirement in 1991, Mr. Barna was employed by the State of New Jersey Department of Health, Trenton, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Magdalen’s Church, Flemington, NJ and a member of American Legion Post 159, Flemington. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Olga Barna; a daughter, Dr. Nancy Barna and her husband Tim Wilmott of Las Vegas, NV; a son, Ted Barna and his wife Mary of Lambertville, NJ and a granddaughter Meghan Wilmott. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Cemetery, Flemington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday September 22, 2006 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
