Wayne A. Goldt, age 56, of Readington Township, NJ, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at his home. He was born on October 20, 1948, in Montclair, NJ the son of Eileen Wiley and the late Robert M. Goldt and lived in Hunterdon County for most of his life. A 1967 Graduate of Hunterdon Central High School he enlisted in the US Marine Corps, serving several tours of duty in Vietnam and was a two-time recipient of the purple heart. Mr. Goldt was employed as the building manager for the Federal Court House in Trenton, NJ. He was a member and served eight terms as Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7856, Flemington, NJ 08822, Past VFW District Commander, served as the National Aide Decamp of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, was a member of American Legion Post 159, Flemington, NJ, the Loyal Order of Moose, Flemington, NJ, Marine Corps League and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife Hannah (Matthews) Goldt; his mother, Eileen Wiley of Holiday, FL, his son, Wayne R. Goldt of New York City, NY; his daughter, Traci Lynn Goldt of Washington, DC; five brothers, Robert Goldt of Fostoria, Ohio, Greg Goldt of Neshanic Station, NJ, Glenn Goldt of Newtown, PA, Gary Goldt of Florida and Scott Goldt of Middletown, PA; his step-father Edward Wiley and one grandchild, Christopher Allan Goldt. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 29, 2005 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Wayne s memory may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7856, 28 Park Avenue, Flemington, NJ 08822
