William D. Billera, 50, former WDVR radio personality Bluegrass Bill died Tuesday October 5, 2004 while attending the International Bluegrass Music Association Convention in Louisville Kentucky. He was born on January 1, 1954 in Raritan Township, NJ, the son of Louis and Marjorie (Saunders) Billera and lived in North Carolina, Virginia and Flemington before moving to Forks Township, PA in June of this year. A 1972 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington and 1976 graduate of Mars Hill College in North Carolina, Mr. Billera worked as a manager for Quick Check Food Stores in Flemington. He is a member of the International Bluegrass Music Association, a former member of the Raritan Township Fire Company and was very proud of his involvement and graduation from the outward-bound program. In addition to his parents of Flemington he is survived by his Fianc e, Mihaela Camerman of Forks Township, PA; two sisters, Leslie Royer of Stockton and Amy Welsh of Ringoes; his brother, Louis Billera of Tonawanda, NY; a niece and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 8, 2004 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals, Flemington, NJ.
